The Malverne Police Department will be holding a collection program, in conjuction with the Malverne Civic Association's E-Cycle event, to encourage residents to turn in their unused or expired medications, drugs and unwanted ammunition and firearms. The items will be safely disposed. Residents can drop of these items at the Towne Service Station and no questions with be asked. Amnesty will be granted on all unlicensed firearms and ammunition.
