Honors For Pair Of West Hempstead Cheerleading Coaches

WEST HEMPSTEAD, NY — A pair of cheerleading coaches from West Hempstead have been recognized by the county.

West Hempstead Secondary School's Kristal Hernandez and Kristen Lynch were named Coach of the Year in Nassau's Section 8 for their exceptional commitment, skill and passion in leading the Rams’ cheerleaders.

Hernandez has coached at the varsity level for three years, bringing a wealth of experience from her time competing at the collegiate level for Long Island University.
