Lynbrook Health Fair To Highlight Recipes For Well-Being

MALVERNE, NY — A health fair is to Lynbrook next week and the cutting-edge Pulse Oximeter will be shown.

The device allows 24-hour monitoring of vital signs, including blood pressure and cardiopulmonary function, and is designed to lessen the possibility of hospital readmissions.

The fair takes place on Oct. 6 at Lynbrook Restorative Therapy and Nursing.

Visitors will also learn about the use of a glucose monitoring system, flu shots, therapy dog information and a demonstration of diabetic-friendly recipes.
