Story by Rosemary Leonetti.
The New York State Education Department has named Lynbrook High School a “Reward School” based on sustained growth in student achievement levels on state assessments.
This is the highest designation on the state’s School and District Accountability Continuum. The school earned this recognition because of the high levels of student achievement in all categories, including mainstream students, non-English speaking, those with special needs and those from diverse economic backgrounds.
