Lynbrook Vacancy, Memorial Donations for Malverne Boy

• Two local women have a shot at being on a 2014 NY Mets calendar – don’t forget to vote for Alanna and Colleen! Voting ends on Wednesday at 12 p.m.

• Did you notice that a popular deli in Lynbrook is now vacant? 

• The new film “The Spectacular Now”  debuts at the Malverne Cinema 5 on Wednesday. Check out showtimes and more info. here.

• Visitation is scheduled on Wednesday at Flinch & Bruns Funeral Home for Alex Huertas, an 8-year-old Malverne boy who died in an accident this past weekend. The Bridge Church in Malverne is also coordinating a relief effort for the Huertas family -  if you would like to contribute your time and talent or help in some way, email tom_grech@hotmail.com.
