Malverne School District Hosts Camp Read-A-Lot
The summer program, now in its second year, is meant to inspire children to keep reading.
For the second year, the Malverne School District hosted Camp Read-A-Lot for select elementary school students to inspire students to “stay connected to their reading.”
The summer program is designed to keep campers connected to good books and to reinforce reading strategies that will aid them in school.
Campers used iPads, desktop computers, interactive whiteboards and books, and were supported by high school mentors.
