Pre-Screening of Disney’s ‘Teen Beach Movie’ Coming to Lynbrook Theater

Pre-screening of Disney film to be held on Sunday.

An advance screening of an upcoming Disney Channel original movie will be shown in Lynbrook on Sunday.

The surf-rock musical “Teen Beach Movie,” which stars Ross Lynch and Maia Mitchell, will be displayed at the Lynbrook Movie Theater. It will be shown after the stars of the film team up with Verizon and Disney to help clean up and restore parts of Far Rockaway Beach in Queens, which was one of the beaches heavily impacted by Hurricane Sandy.

Volunteer employees from Verizon and Disney will help in the general beach clean-up as they plant flowers and shrubs,  paint and refurbish benches. After the clean-up project, the volunteers will join Verizon customers at the Lynbrook movie theater for a pre-screening of the movie, which will premiere on the Disney Channel on July 19 at 8 p.m.
