#3 Police: WH Man, Firefighter Torched Car - A West Hempstead man was arrested Tuesday after allegedly setting fire to an acquaintance's car back in May in North Bellmore, police said. 

#2 Lynbrook Police Seek Suspect in Hit-and-Run - Nassau County Police and the Lynbrook Police Department are looking for a suspect who they said struck a woman with their vehicle and drove away early Tuesday morning. 

#1 Lynbrook Walgreens Proposal Shut Down by Village Board - The pharmacy chain was in talks with the Village to open a location on Hempstead Avenue. The chain wanted to build and open a location by purchasing and demolishing pre-existing structures at 230-234 Hempstead Ave. -  including a gym and a florist.
