West Hempstead High School graduate Gabriel Cordell completed a 3,100 mile cross country journey in his wheelchair Monday night.
Cordell became the first person to ever travel across the country in a manual wheelchair. He was greeted by a large crowd of residents, family and friends on Nassau Blvd.
