2 Nassau Music High School Students Awarded Scholarships
The Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame recognized the accomplished students.

MASSAPEQUA, NY — A pair of music students from Nassau County have been awarded scholarships.
The Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame (LIMEHOF) handed out $1,000 scholarships to ten students from across the island including:
- Cooper Arbisi (Massapequa High School)
- Cody Chelune (Levittown, Island Trees High School, Vocal, Tenor)
"We are thrilled to award these scholarships to such talented and dedicated young musicians,” said Tom Needham, LIMEHOF’s Educational Programs Director. “Supporting the next generation of music students as they embark on their college journeys is at the heart of our mission."

Arbisi will be attending the B.F.A. Musical Theatre program at Ithaca College and has been accepted into their Leadership Scholar Program. Most recently, Arbisi played Sam Carmichael in Massapequa High School's production of "Mamma Mia!"
Chelune will attend Ithaca College with a major in choral music education.

This is the first year that LIMEHOF has expanded its scholarships to include the performing arts.
LIMEHOF has awarded tens of thousands of scholarships to Long Island high school students since its inception.
