Apathy about Massapequa Schools
The Massapequa Superintendent and a newly elected school board member were both critical about school election turnout. How do you feel about it?

The recent school elections in Massapequa had the budget passing by a comfortable margin.
School Board Vice President Tim Taylor also won a third term by a healthy margin if you look at the percentage of the vote.
What isn't healthy is the voter turnout, at least according to Taylor and School Sperintendent Charles Sulc.
Both have made statement expressing concern about voter apathy.
What it is that they’re really voting for is what their kids get,” Sulc said. “People need to take more interest in what’s going on.”
We want to know how big a problem you think this is and what solutions you'd like to suggest.
