Update: Video Release of Man Keying Cars in Massapequa

Police are searching for the man who went on a keying spree on one Massapequa street Wednesday morning.

Nassau Police are searching for a man who damaged 30 cars in the span of 15 minutes early Wednesday.

Cops confirmed that a total of 30 cars of different makes and models had their hoods or passenger doors scratched between 2:45 a.m. and 3 a.m.

All the cars damaged were on Cameo Drive, police said.

The scratching spree has reportedly outraged the neighborhood.

The worst part is someone was on my property, someone invaded my home.” Dawn DeNicola said, according to WCBS. “Why us?”

She added, “If there was a disgruntled person who was mad at someone do their house, why do an entire block?”

Authorities say the culprit is a man, heavy build, and was wearing tan shorts, dark colored shirt, and a baseball cap.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
