Fire Destroys Massapequa Home
Multiple fire departments responded to fight the blaze on Clearwater Avenue.

MASSAPEQUA, NY — Multiple departments responded to a fire in Massapequa that destroyed a home Sunday afternoon.
According to police, a fire broke out in a home on Clearwater Avenue around 4 p.m. All the residents of the home managed to get out safely.
The Massapequa Fire Department arrived on the scene, and was assisted by firefighters from the Seaford, Amityville, Wantagh and South Farmingdale fire departments.

The fire caused severe damage to the home, and the smoke cause damage to two neighboring homes. No one was injured.
Police say the Arson Bomb Squad and the Nassau County Fire Marshal are investigating the cause of the fire.
