The Historical Society of the Massapequas brings back one of its most popular fundraising events in October when it holds its annual Apple Festival.
The event will be held Oct. 19 at the Massapequa HIstorical Complex at Old Grace Church located at 4755 Merrick Road.
Residents can buy homemade pies, Long Island Apples and other treats, including hot dogs.
There will also be crafts, vendors, raffles and face painting. The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and there will be live music from the Banjo Rascals from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The rain date will be Oct. 20th.
