It's Homecoming week and an important work session of the Massapequa Board of Education.

Homecoming: Massapequa holds its annual homecoming week with a pep rally Friday, Saturday's parade at 12:30 p.m. and the big football game against Syosset at 2 p.m.
Workshop: The Massapequa Board of Education will meet for a public workshop Tuesday where they will discuss the possibility of passing a resolution to address the issue of excessive testing. It will be in the high school auditorium at 7 p.m.
Village Board: The Massapequa Park Village Board meets Wednesday at 8 p.m. The meeting is at Village Hall located at 152 Front Street.
PTA: The Massapequa PTA Council hosts a General meeting Monday, It starts at 7 p.m.
Wild Long Island: This event at the Bar Harbour Library features representatives from Tackapausha brining a selection of animals found on Long Island. It starts at 1:30 p.m.
