Salute to America: The Town of Oyster Bay will celebrate it's annual Salute to America on Tuesday. There will be a musical performances by the Broce Springsteen tribute band, "Tramps like us. and fireworks by Grucci at John J. Burns Park in Massapequa. It all starts at 7:30 p.m.
Hot Times: The heat wave that's been baking our area is expected to continue Tuesday with temperatures expected to reach 93 according to the National Weather Service. Town pools will remain open to 9 p.m.
Computer Class: This course at the Bar Harbour Library teaches basic computer and word processing skills. It meets at 2 p.m.
iPad: Bar Harbour will also host a class on cool iPad apps at 7 p.m.
Mah Johngg: Play the popular tile game from noon to 9 p.m. at Bar Harbour.
