LIRR Moves Ticket Machines
More changes at Massapequa station undergoing $40 million facelift.

The Long Island Rail Road's $40 million renovation of the 60-year-old Massapequa station continues next week.
Ticket machines will be temporarily relocated to the east underpass starting Tuesday, according to the MTA.
The move makes way for the next phase of the Massapequa station rebuilding project.
The two-year LIRR facelift will replace the station platform, canopy, staircases, elevator and escalator as well as the platform waiting room, lighting, public address system and signage.
Work began in April and expects to continue into 2015.
