LONG ISLAND, NY — After way too much rain over the last week, Long Island is finally in for a stretch of sunny weather. And it will be warm all week, too.

According to the latest forecasts from the National Weather Service, the whole week is looking to be sunny across Long Island, with only a few clouds in the sky. Temperatures will also increase as the week goes on, starting in the low 60s on Monday and heading up to 70 by Thursday.

Rain doesn't reenter the forecast until Friday night, and maybe into the weekend. But there's still a good chance it will miss the area entirely.
