Long Island Weekend Weather: Patchy Fog, Chances Of Rain, Not Much Sun
After a beautiful week, it's looking like the weekend is going to be overcast, and possibly rainy.

LONG ISLAND, NY — After a beautiful and sunny week, rain may be coming back to Long Island for the weekend.
According to the National Weather Service, there's a chance that rain will return tonight or Thursday. There's a greater chance for rain on Saturday. Sunday looks to start clear, but may get rain later on. There's also patchy fog predicted for most of the early hours over the weekend.
Temperatures, though, will stay pleasant, which highs ranging from the upper 60s to low 70s.

The chance for rain grows as the new week starts, with showers likely Monday.

Tonight: Patchy drizzle with a chance of light rain after 2 a.m. Areas of fog after 2 a.m. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 56. Northeast wind around 7 mph.
Friday: A chance of showers or drizzle before 8 a.m., then a chance of showers between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Areas of fog before 8 a.m. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 67. Northeast wind 7 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
Friday Night: A 30 percent chance of rain after 2 a.m. Areas of fog. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 57. Southeast wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Saturday: A 50 percent chance of rain. Areas of fog before 10 a.m. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 68. South wind 5 to 7 mph.
Saturday Night: A 30 percent chance of rain before 2 a.m. Cloudy, with a low around 57.
Sunday: A 30 percent chance of showers after 2 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 72.
