Man Robbed Nassau Motel At Knifepoint
Police are searching for the man, who robbed the motel in the early morning hours Thursday.
MASSAPEQUA PARK, NY — A man robbed a motel in Massapequa at knifepoint early Thursday morning, and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
The man entered the Best Western Bar Harbor Motel, located at 5080 Sunrise Highway in Massapequa Park, at 4:44 a.m., police said. He approached a woman working at the front desk, pulled out a knife and demanded money.
The woman took the man to a back room, and the man stole cash from a register, then fled east on Sunrise Highway.

The robber is about 5 feet, 7 inches tall with a stocky build. He was wearing a black ski mask, a camouflage jacket, black pants, black gloves and white sneakers.
Police are asking anyone with information about this robbery to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
