Easter Weekend: Many in the Massapequa area will be preparing for the Easter holiday weekend Friday. Area Christians will celebrate good Friday and you can finf out about local services here. We'll also let you know about Easter services on Saturday.

LIRR: The Long Island Rail Road will be adding extra trains for the evening rush hour today. The Babylon Branch which serves Massapequa and Massapequa Park will add a 2:29 p.m. express to Lynbrook, then making all stops to Babylon; a 3 p.m. stopping at Jamaica, Rockville Centre, then making all stops to Babylon; and a 3:31 p.m. express to Rockville Centre, then making all stops to Babylon.
