Massapequa Crime Report: DWIs

Sept. 16 to Sept. 24.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

DWI

On Sept. 18, a 66-year-old Amity Harbor Man was arrested on Sunrise Highway in Massapequa and charged with DWI, police said.

On Sept. 20, a Massapequa man was arrested on Ann Rose Street and charges with DWI and one violation of the Vehicle and Traffic Law. cops said.

Drug Arrest

On Sept. 13, a 20-year old Massapequa man was arrested on East Beech Street in Long Beach and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, police said.

Grand Larceny

On Sept. 16, a thief stole merchandise from the Victoria's Secret store at the Sunrise Mall, police said. The theft occurred between 4:50 p.m. and 4:57.

Larcenies involving Vehicles

On Sept. 20 a GPS and camera were reported stolen on North Nassau Avenue in North Massapequa, police said. The theft took place between 10 p.m. the previous night  and 6 a.m.

On Sept. 20, a wallet and a cell phone were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked on Tulip Drive, police said. The theft  took place between 10 p.m. the previous night and 6:30 a.m.

On Sept. 21 a backpack was reported stolen from a vehicle parked on North Hickory Street in North Massapequa, police said. The theft  took place between 10 p.m. the previous night and 7:30 a.m.

On Sept. 22, a wallt was reported stolen from a vehicle Parked on Clocks Boulevard at 2:55 p.m., police said.

On Sept. 23 a wallet was stolen from a vehicle parked on North Beech Street at 10:50 a.m., police said.
