Massapequa Cub Scouts Tour West Point
Local scouts learn history and watch Army football.

There was a sprinkling of blue and gold in the long gray line this weekend.
Scouts Massapequa Pack 696 made a trip to the United States Military Academy at West Point, Saturday.
They came away with an appreciation of History and College Football. The scouts saw military parade and received a guided tour of the campus from a cadet.
Among the attractions were statues of legendary graduates, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Douglas MacArthur and George Patton.
They spent the afternoon watching the Army Wake Forest game won by Wake 25-11.
