Massapequa Fire Department Hosting Blood Drive On Aug. 26

Giving blood can help save lives. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are preferred.

MASSAPEQUA, NY — If you're looking for a way to give back, there will be a blood drive in Masspequa on Aug. 26.

Assemblyman Michael Durso, in coordination with the Massapequa Fire Department and the New York Blood Center, will be hosting the blood drive from 3:15 to 9:15 p.m. at the Massapequa Fire Department, located at 515 Hicksville Road.

This event will be held with proper COVID-19 guidelines in place. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are preferred. Each donor will receive a $5 gift card. Also, please bring a non-perishable food item to help support Island Harvest Food Bank.
