
The Massapequa Football team scored the first 28 points Saturday en route to a 56-21 win against visiting East Meadow.
Matt Caracappa was 6-of-9 for 90 yards and three touchdowns. Craig Berge was on the receiving end of three of the scores.
Jack Korber rushed for 117 yards and a TD, and Nick Capuana added two scores on the ground as well. Lastly, Matt Martello took another rushing attempt into the end zone.
Dennis Mahoney led the defense with a sack.
Up next for Massapequa is a showdown with Oceanside at 5 p.m. Saturday at Hofstra University. If they win, the Chiefs will head to the County Finals on Nov. 23 at 4 p.m.
