Trailing by three goals late, Farmingdale rallied past Massapequa Wednesday and claimed its eighth-straight Nassau County Class A girls lacrosse championship.
The 11-9 victory Wednesday at Adelphi gave the Dalers' their 12th Nassau crown in the past 13 years and earned them the right to play for the Long Island Championship on June 2 at Adelphi.
The top-ranked Dalers were led by Amanda Turturro and Nadine Hadnagy, who combined for seven goals against the second-ranked Massapequa.
