Massapequa HS Awarded $20,000 Tech Grant
Oyster Bay Town Supervisor Joseph Saladino recently handed the check to the school.

MASSAPEQUA, NY — Massapequa High School has been awarded a $20,000 technology grant from Optimum Business.
The grant, awarded through Optimum’s partnership with Donors Choose, helps to bring cutting-edge tech tools to local classrooms.
Oyster Bay Town Supervisor Joseph Saladino presented the check to the school. He said they "work hard in STEM fields to build and create a better future for tomorrow."

Money from the grant means students from the school will soon have access to a CNC router— a computer-controlled cutting machine used in the designing and fabricating of large-scale projects with incredible precision.
