Massapequa School Budget Approved

MASSAPEQUA, NY — Voters in the Massapequa School District took to the polls today and approved the district's proposed 2022-23 budget.

The budget passed 1,600 to 1,160.

Residents also passed a proposition to establish a new capital reserve fund 1,544 to 1,078.

In addition to the budget, residents also cast votes for Board of Education trustees. Christopher Brooks was running unopposed and earned 2,106 votes.
