Men Ripped Out ATM But Couldn't Get It Open: Nassau Police
Police say the two men tried to steal from the ATM, but only managed to drag it away from it's spot.
MASSAPEQUA, NY — Nassau County police are searching for two men who tried to steal from an ATM in Massapequa early Saturday morning.
According to police, the two men drove up to the Chase Bank at 6 Carmans Road in a 2001 white Ford F250 at 2:40 a.m. on July 30. They tied the ATM to the back of the truck and ripped it from its spot.
The men tried to get money out of the machine, but were unable to do so before they fled. Police located the empty truck near the Sunrise Mall.

Police did not give a description of the two men. The investigation is ongoing.
