Multiple Thefts Reported In The Massapequas

NASSAU COUNTY, NY — The Nassau County Police Department reported the following incidents in the Massapequa area for the week ending Oct. 13.
- Four license plates were stolen from a car in North Massapequa on Oct. 7.
- A Milwaukee Sawzall was stolen from an unlocked car in Massapequa on Oct. 10.
- A 38-year-old man from Bellmore was arrested on Oct. 6 and charged with shoplifting from Macy's in Massapequa.
- A 36-year-old man from Franklin Square was arrested on Oct. 10 and charged with shoplifting from Shoprite in Massapequa.
- A 60-year-old man from Amityville was arrested on Oct. 10 and charged with shoplifting from the Sunrise Mall in Massapequa.
