Overnight Fire Displaces Residents At Massapequa Home: Police

The fire is not considered suspicious, police said.

MASSAPEQUA, NY — A fire took place early Friday at a Massapequa home, police said.

The Massapequa Fire Department responded to the home on McKinley Place at 3:48 a.m. The upper level of the home was fully engulfed in flames, police said.

The Nassau County Fire Marshal and the Arson Bomb Squad also arrived.

The Red Cross was notified to offer assistance to the displaced residents, police said.

No one was injured.
