MASSAPEQUA, NY — The Town of Oyster Bay joined with the United States Marine Corps to host Long Island's largest "Cruise-Thru" Toys for Tots drive over the weekend. The drive collected tens of thousands of toys.

The collection drive, held at John Burns Town Park in Massapequa on Dec. 3 and 4, collected more than 30,000 toys for children.

"The 30,000 of toys collected at this 'Cruise-Thru Holiday Toy Drive' and by the Town of Oyster Bay will bring giant smiles to the faces of children this holiday season," said Town Supervisor Joseph Saladino. "I thank our residents for opening their hearts and wallets to generously give back to children in need during the holidays. This collection drive was the all-time largest single day collection on Long Island and demonstrated the love our community has for others."
