We end September and begin October with a school board meeting and a big football game. School Board: The Massapequa Board of Education meets Thursday  at 8 p.m. The meeting will be at the District Board Room. Football: Massapequa will host neighboring Farmingdale Saturday with a 3 p.m. kickoff. Town Board: The Oyster Bay Town Board meets at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Town Hall, 50 Audrey Avenue in Oyster Bay. Back to School: Massapequa High School  hosts back to school night at 7 p.m. Monday. Financial Program: The Bar Harbour Library hosts a program teaching the basics of investing for teens and young adults at 7 p.m. Thursday.
