Starting Another Hurricane Season
Massapequa is still very much recovering from Hurricane Sandy. Can we stand another storm?

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has issued a prediction for the upcoming Hurricane season that's not going to go over well on Long Island.
NOAA says the hurricane season starting June 1 is going to be an active one.
The agency says theres a 70 percent likelihood for 13 to 20 tropical storms this season, 7 to 11 hurricanes and 3 to 6 of those hurricanes reaching "major" status. A major hurricane is Category Three or higher.
Nobody wants to see a storm hit Long Island again, but it is always a possibility.
