Tax Levy Payments Due For Town Of Oyster Bay Residents

Homeowners can pay until Feb. 10 without assessing a penalty.

OYSTER BAY, NY — Town of Oyster Bay residents are reminded that the General Tax Levy for the first half of 2024 was due on New Year's Day.

However, Town Receiver of Taxes Jeffrey Pravato said payment can be made penalty-free through February 10.

"After the 40 days, State Law requires a one percent penalty be added for each month the tax remains unpaid, retroactive to January 1st," Pravato said.
