Tuesday Election and School Board Meeting
A look at what's happening in the Massapequa this week.
Massapequa goes to the polls this week, while several school events are on the docket.
Here's a look ahead:
Election Day: On Tuesday, voters will go to the polls to vote for Nassau County and Town of Oyster Bay. There will also be judicial elections and referendums. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
School Board: The Massapequa Board of Education meets Thursday at 8 p.m.
PTA: The Massapequa PTA Council will hold an Executive meeting at 7:30 p.m.
Children's Program: The Bar Harbour Library will host a program Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. on the tradition of the Native American Talking Stick.
Soccer: Both of Massapequa's teams will play in the Class AA finals this week. The girls play Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Denton Avenue School. The Boys play Wednesday at Adelphi University with a 7:30 p.m. start.
