Twins Say They Were Attacked In Nassau Bar For Wearing Masks: Report

One said he was sucker-punched and another had a drink poured down her back by the same man, the twins say.

MASSAPEQUA PARK, NY — A brother and sister who were attending a live show at a bar in Massapequa Park last week say they were attacked and harassed by a man for wearing masks in the venue.

According to CBS New York, 25-year-old twins Justin and Melody were at a concert at Prohibition Bar in Massapequa Park on Nov. 10 when a belligerent man accosted them for wearing masks. The two say the man sucker-punched Justin in the back, leaving bruises on his skin. And Melody said the man poured a drink down her back.

"He said, 'What the 'F' are you trying to prove?' And I just ... all I said was, 'I'm not trying to prove anything,'" Justin told CBS. The twins say they were the only ones in the bar wearing masks.
