Weigh in on Town Book Program

For many, it's the ultimate Long Island book and the Town of Oyster Bay is using it as the centerpiece of a new literacy program.

There have been many efforts to publicize the program and get residents to read the book, set in 1920s Long Island.

One of those efforts will come Wednesday night when there will be a lecture and discussion about the book at the Hicksville Community Center at 7 p.m.
