Bicyclist Struck by Pickup Truck Critically Injured
Detectives are investigating the Saturday night crash.

MEDFORD, NY – A bicyclist was struck by a pickup truck in Medford Saturday night, Suffolk Police said.
According to police, a 2015 Ford pickup truck being driven by a 41-year-old Shirley man struck a bicyclist on Horseblock Road at about 7 p.m. The unidentified adult male victim was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
The pickup driver stayed at the scene. He and his 4-year-old son were not injured. No criminal charges have been filed.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on the crash, or information on the victim’s identity, to call the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652.
