Man, 24, Hurt In Crash With Tractor-Trailer In Medford: Police
His SUV struck the back of the vehicle on Route 112 early Tuesday, Suffolk police say.
MEDFORD, NY — A 24-year-old man was hurt in a crash with a tractor-trailer in Medford early Tuesday morning, Suffolk police said.
Another 24-year-old man was driving the tractor-trailer northbound on Route 112 and tried to turn left into the parking lot of a building materials supply business on Route 112 when the vehicle was struck by a 2011 Nissan SUV that was behind him, according to police.
The driver of the Nissan was taken to NYU Langone Hospital - Suffolk in East Patchogue with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The crash took place at around 12:40 a.m., according to police.
