Motorcyclist Hurt In Crash With Vehicle On Long Island Expressway Wednesday Afternoon: PD

MEDFORD, NY — One person was hurt after a motorcycle collided with a vehicle in the eastbound lane of the Long Island Expressway in Medford on Tuesday afternoon, Suffolk police said.

The person was taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries, and the scene was cleared, according to a police spokeswoman.

The two vehicles collided at around 2 p.m., police said.

Traffic was snarled for a period of time while first responders worked the scene.
