Luis Machado, 33, was charged Tuesday morning within the confines of the 84th Precinct in New York City with leaving the scene of a crash resulting in death for the Sept. 27 incident during which Alexandra Huggins, 32, of Brooklyn, died after she was struck riding her bicycle in Williamsburg, according to the NYPD.
Officers responded around 2:30 a.m. to a crash at Meserole and Leonard Streets, where a blue Tesla had slammed into Huggins as she rode west on her bike, according to police.
