Person Hurt In Hit-And-Run On Long Island: Police

They were taken to a local hospital for treatment, Suffolk police say.

MEDFORD, NY — Suffolk police are investigating a hit-and-run in Medford on Tuesday, a spokesperson said.

A person was struck at North Ocean Avenue and Petty Lane at around 12:15 p.m., and then taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
