Suffolk Gas Station Employee Stabbed In Chest During Robbery

BREAKING: A manhunt is on for three suspects.

PATCHOGUE, NY – An employee at a Patchogue gas station was stabbed during a robbery early Thursday, police said.

Suffolk Police say three men entered the Coastal station located at 279 West Main St., displayed a knife and demanded cash at about 1:10 a.m. One of the men stabbed the male cashier in the chest, and then the three men fled the scene on foot.

The employee was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
