MEDFORD, NY — Suffolk police are seeking the public's help in identifying the suspect they say swiped around $200 in clothes from T.J. Maxx in Medford in September. A man stole the clothing from the Horseblock Road store on Sept. 17 at around 3:15 p.m., police said. In an image from security video, the man can be seen wearing a black t-shirt with characters from "The Nightmare Before Christmas" and a black bucket hat. The crime has been classified petty larceny. Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in the case. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, a confidential police hotline, using a mobile app, which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips. Tips can also be submitted online at www.P3Tips.com. All calls, text messages, and emails will be kept confidential.
