MEDFORD, NY — Suffolk police are seeking the public's help in identifying the suspect they say swiped merchandise from a Medford store earlier this month. Police say a man stole around $90 worth in baseball cards from Target on Horseblock Road on Sept. 2 at around 5:35 p.m. In video surveillance footage, the man can be seen wearing a dark-colored polo shirt, gray pants, white sneakers, and a black hat. The crime is being investigated by 6th Squad detectives as petit larceny. Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in the case. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, a confidential police hotline, using a mobile app, which can be downloaded through the App Store, or Google Play by searching P3 Tips. Tips can also be submitted online at www.P3Tips.com. All calls, text messages, and emails will be kept confidential, police said.
