BOE Meetings, Current Events Club

1. The Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District will have a special meeting in which the Board of Education will adopt a resolution for its proposed capital project to present to voters on Monday at 5:30 p.m.

2. The Merrick Union Free School District will have a Board of Education meeting on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

3. The North Merrick School District will have its monthly Board of Education meeting on Tuesday at 8 p.m.

4. The Vine Wine Bar will host an event with Brewery Ommegang on Wednesday at 7 p.m. The eatery will offer samples of Ommegang's RARE VOS Amber Ale and will pair it with some selections of its menu. A brewery representative will be on board to answer questions. 

5. Calling all news junkies! The Merrick Public Library will host its Current Events Club which will be moderated by local historian, Jack Bilello. The event will take place on Thursday at 2 p.m.
