MERRICK, NY — Opening day is upon us for high school football.
Calhoun High School holds its home opener on Saturday, Sept. 2 against Friends Academy of Roslyn.
The team is also having a Community Day Game, with the Bellmore-Merrick Braves youth team and their families invited to the opener.
