Chatterton Students Help Others Give Thanks
Merrick fifth and sixth graders donate food and paper goods for families in need.
Chatterton Elementary School students and faculty in the Merrick School District donated nonperishable food and paper goods to help local families.
Members of Chattertonβs fifth and sixth grade student council and other student volunteers organized 24 boxes of donated food and paper goods. Families will receive two boxes and a Chatterton Student Council recyclable grocery bag.
Student Council members also created Thanksgiving cards to accompany each box.
