Clavin Easily Wins 3rd Term As Supervisor
Incumbent Michael Giangregorio outpaced his opponent for another term in the legislature, according to the Board of Elections.

MERRICK, NY — Don Clavin has been elected to a third term as the Town of Hempstead Supervisor, according to unofficial results from the Nassau Board of Elections.
With all 100 percent of the precincts in, Clavin received 65 percent of the vote.
Former Hempstead Supervisor Kate Murray outpaced her Town Clerk opponent with 63 percent.

In the County Legislature, Incumbent Michael Giangregorio (Republican) easily won his 12th District seat for another term with 70 percent, while challenger Matthew Pasternak had 30 percent.
